libgcj16-dbg software package provides Debugging symbols for libraries provided in libgcj16-dev, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgcj16-dbg
libgcj16-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgcj16-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgcj16-dbg *
You will get with libgcj16-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
